@MojasRPG That depends on what you mean by “overwritten files”. Generally, if a data sector is overwritten on a disk, it’s not possible to recover previous data.
@NicksGamesChannel That depends. If the new file overwrote the previous one, then it’s gone, if the new file was physically copied to another place on the disk, then it’s possible that the previous version of the file is recoverable. Try Disk Drill, it’s free.
@cleverfiles Ive been looking for a way to recover files cuz i accidently copy and pasted with the same name in one of my folders and it deleted a important file would i be able to recover a replaced file?
With all the bad stuff on the Internet these days, it would be smart to use something like Disk Drill in case your drive gets infected. I have to much invested in the info on my computer to leave it to chance. I’m gonna give it a go!
I recently switched to a Mac after years of running a Dell. I was a bit overwhelmed with the differences and actually had a file loss issue. I searched solutions and I will say this was very helpful.
I had thought my hard drive was ruined because I couldn’t find my files on it, but i decided t try this software after watching this and it worked like a charm! Thanks!
